Miriam's
Holiday
Miriam's
holidays are different because Miriam's father is Jewish and her
mother is Christian. Their family celebrates both Hanukkah and
Christmas. Miriam explains why and how. Simple histories are given
of both holidays including the merging of native traditions (solstice
and Christmas trees) as Christianity spread north from Rome.
